re: Code of Conduct
by El Amor Brujo on Sat Oct 05, 2013 5:11 pm
Several versions of kinship rules have been considered since our beginning- defining what behavior is mature behavior, what is tolerated and won't be tolerated. It got messy. It felt negative to write. It was easy for it to get wordy, overwhelming, and off-putting.
In reading through Turbine's codes of conduct it seemed many, if not most, of the rules we were considering were already covered. For the time being, unless the Council decides to create and submit its own, original kinship rules/guidelines at a later date - the following will apply:
1. A member must comply with all rules set by Turbine for Gameplay and RP, and may not disrupt RP in progress. On our Forums, common courtesy requested by Turbine in its Community Forums is similarly expected, (with the exception of #23.)
2. Kinship members are expected to act in a courteous and mature fashion at all times and to avoid acting in such a way as to bring the kinship into disrepute. This includes communications within glff, and actions within pugs and other fellowships/shared chat channels.
3. Disagreements between kinship members should be resolved in private rather than in public. If a disagreement cannot be resolved in private, please approach an officer.
